2019 wedding season has started with this cute two tiered wedding cake for Angie and Justine who got married in Bristol at Hotel Du Vin.

Let's talk cake, Angie and Justine set their hearts on an wedding cake inspired by a very well known cake designer called Tracey James.
As the couple were having a small wedding a two tiered cake was the option of choice.
The colour theme of their wedding was Dove grey and blush pink so the colours of the initial design worked well for them.
With edible lace around the base of the cake, handcrafted ombre blush roses and the added spacers to give the cake height this cake turned out to be a little beauty.
The flavour of choice for their wedding cake was a lemon and blueberry layered cake with vanilla buttercream and zesty lemon curd. The second tier which is one of my best sellers, a carrot cake with orange zest buttercream finished off with a thin layer of white chocolate ganache before the dove grey fondant was applied.
Angie said that the cake was beautiful and wished they went for a bigger cake as the cake was devoured in minutes.
